Southern California is the land of sunshine, though sometimes too much so.
When Orange County decided to build a new sheriff's department, one goal was to try to reduce air-conditioning costs. Though traditional sun-shades work, the county wanted something more permanent, as well as something that would call attention to their eco-minded decision.
They found just the solution they were after in GKD's Omega 1510. With a 35% open area, Omega 1510 was open enough to allow for light to pass through but opaque enough to cut a goodly amount of the sun's rays.
