European Court of Justice - Tower Exteriors

These two towers with their 24-stories complement the low, plain structure of the Palais de Justice. The gold-colored cladding of the twin towers, visible from afar, is formed of an anodized metal fabric especially developed for this project. Each panel was installed between two window panes in a frame. A specific zigzag formed mesh edging gives the apparently seamless façade additional depth while at the same time allows sophisticated accentuated lighting effects.
