GKD was chosen for fabric design, ruggedness of the product and proven facade capabilities. Because this stadium facility is located across from a residential neighborhood, it was important to blend in and appropriately scale the project. The use of three structures eliminated any imposition on the surrounding community. The facade of the grandstand building facing outward is clad with decorative Lago stainless steel fabric. This handsome metallic skin also hides the unattractive bleacher support structure.
