A shimmering metallic facade allows an uninterrupted view of Barcelona from the inside of the building while covering the supporting structures of the Torre Europa. As a form of protection against the sun, the woven membrane ensures a pleasant climate within the rooms inside during the hot Catalonian summer.A custom Omega metal fabric and a custom flats, plate and bolt attachment method were used.
