Yankee Stadium Transparent Partition Walls

Part of the design emphasis in the new Yankee stadium is the openness. A custom version of GKD Tigris stainless steel metal fabric was employed at balcony and platform levels of the Great Hall, the transition and activity location between entrances and the field.  The transparency allows visual access through to the field, keeping fans in touch with the action from just about anywhere. At the same time, the fabric provides both a safety and a security role.
