In this open-air shopping destination, parking amenities are positioned as an important element of the retail experience. To achieve the best performance and aesthetic for this new parking garage, the owners used metal mesh to create an elegant, timeless design while also providing transparency and natural light.
Grove Central Residences, Miami
Metal fabric elevates this parking structure design to bring visual appeal and a luxurious feel to the tenant experience. Touzet Studio designed the garage to seamlessly blend with the primary building, utilizing metal mesh for durability and aesthetics. Located on heavily travelled Route 1, metal fabric makes the building unique while meeting strict Miami-Dade County building codes.
Las Olas Parking Garage, Fort Lauderdale
To create an eye-catching gateway to the beach, Arquitectonica of Miami envisioned this multi-story parking structure as a grand, sweeping gesture; a modern riff on a wave pattern. Using metal mesh cladding, the play of light and shadow through the mesh creates dynamic visual effects, transforming a parking facility into artistic expression.
Maximum length and width are highly dependent on the pattern and whether a weave is rigid or flexible. In the case of flexible meshes, maximum width can span up to 26 feet. Typical length is approximately 100 feet though longer lengths are possible and should be discussed with your sales representative. Rigid or PC meshes tend to have a maximum width of 101 inches.
