CT2 Center for Teaching and Training of the Medical Faculty

While the Medical Faculty Teaching and Training Building at nRhenish-Westphalian Technical University was in concept, A. Frauenrath BauConcept GmbH and architects from SOP had a mission that was two-fold. They needed to address the high functional demands of the space while treating it like flagship project in terms of design. To help achieve this functional, artistic mission, the team turned to GKD and their OMEGA 1520 woven metal mesh.
ParisLongchamp Redesign

In 2011, world-renowned French architect Dominique Perrault won an international architecture competition to redesign the historic sporting venue. Perrault proposed tearing down the existing stands, as well as multiple buildings spread across the site, to create space for a new grandstand and pavilions that would secure the infrastructure required at a horse racing venue.
Koningin Elisabethzaal Concert Hall Redesign

GKD partnered with the Koningin Elisabethzaal in Antwerp, Belgium to redesign the concert hall, prioritizing acoustics to guarantee the best possible sound quality in this historic building.
Kunsthalle Mannheim Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

GKD's team of experts worked with Gerkan Marg & Partners to reintrept classic museum architecture while paying homage to Mannheim's historic infrastructure.
