Boston World Trade Center
Location: Boston, MA
Architect: Kallman, McKinnell & Wood Architects
Date: 2003
Project Type: Corporate Buildings
The designers of the Boston World Trade Center appropriately eschewed pared-down modernism for a more multi-cultural approach. Decorative façade and veil elements were employed in the overall design that provides natural ventilation, lighting and transparency. Fin-like brackets, clad in GKD's Futura 3110, appear to support deep Polynesian overhangs.
