To meet the high acoustical requirements of concert halls, theaters and other public spaces where sound control is critical, designers often choose architectural mesh from GKD for a variety of applications including ceilings and wall coverings. The material can also be extended to other areas for consistent design.

Acoustic Mesh Panels are a near-silent composite of aluminum mesh, a fiber-free honeycomb supporting plate and an acoustic fleece intermediate layer. Acoustic Mesh Panels provide architects and designers with metal fabric ceiling options that also contribute to LEED certification through Acoustical Performance and Daylighting credits. The panels achieve an NRC value of .9 (SAA = .92).
