In Guangzhou city, the completed Children's Palace will be home to 20,000 students. This crescent-shaped structure features a façade of Escale, a metal fabric with the flexibility required to wrap compound curves while still allowing for the natural flow of light and air. As a veil drawn over the structure, Escale also hides utilities beneath a silver skin.
